Work You ll DoInterface with executive members within business/product lines, compliance, IT, and internal audit to identify issues, develop strategy, conduct analysis/testing, and design technology, processes, and operations infrastructure to effectively manage risks. Help to identify, assess, and implement information systems and technology that manage risk and drive operational, financial, and regulatory and compliance processes. Evaluate internal control's design and operative effectiveness, including system development life cycle and assessing IT strategy, with an understanding of writing functional specifications, technical specifications, test plans, cases, and scripts. Participate in risk assessments, risk rankings, control GAP analysis, and risk framework documentation. Understand clients' business environment and basic risk management approaches, including policies, controls, and training. Advise clients on market trends, competitor activities, products, and services lines within the Financial Services Industry. Assist with project management, preparing project plans, and weekly status reports. Perform system implementation reviews, including data warehouse and web platforms. Gather business requirements, data mapping, and document report specifications for trading, compliance, and portfolio management. Conduct quality assessment review and develop program enhancement strategies for second and third lines of defense. Test, implement, and reconcile back office reporting, financial, or control systems. #LI-DNI RequirementsBachelor's (or higher) degree in Business Administration, Economics, Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent).Eighteen months of experience in securities, investment management or wealth management industries, and trade lifecycle operational processes and technology.Experience must include eighteen months of:Evaluating clients' critical business processes and controls and conducting quality assessment reviews and developing program enhancement strategies for all lines of defense in the institutional sales and trading, retail brokerage, and investment management industries;Performing risk assessment, risk rankings, process and control design, control GAP analysis, and risk framework documentation;Defining and documenting business requirements and specifications for front office trading and risk management activities and systems, compliance surveillance routines, and related business processes;Understanding and documenting clients' business environment and basic risk management approaches including the creation of client specific policies and procedures, as well as designing the adequate training materials;Utilizing technology-based tools or methodologies to review, design, or implement products and services;Testing and enhancing the design and operative effectiveness of system development life cycle, including assessing IT strategy, with an understanding of writing functional specifications, technical specifications, test plans, cases, and scripts;Performing system implementation reviews, including data warehouse and web platforms;Testing the implementation and reconciliation of back office reporting, financial, or control systems for institutional sales and trading, retail brokerage, and investment management industries;Assessing clients' compliance with financial industry regulations and consent orders including CCAR, DoL, Dodd-Frank, and completing trade life cycle for different investment products including operations, documentation, settlement, and reporting process for securities; andDefining and designing business process workflows, data maps and data migration, and defining user test criteria, data, status monitoring, problem tracking, and resolution through the full lifecycle of engagements.Position requires approximately 80% travel.
