Work You ll Do

Develop control frameworks encompassing regulatory requirements, including privacy and Sarbanes Oxley, and application security designs; interface with internal audit, business, IT, and members of executive management to design and implement solutions; help to identify and evaluate complex business process and technology risks; evaluate and implement internal controls that mitigate risks; participate in risk assessments, determine internal audit plans, execute internal audit programs, assess issues, and work with management to determine remediation plans and track progress; understand clients business environment and basic risk management approaches; demonstrate knowledge of market trends and competitor activities, products, and service lines; build value by taking a Risk Intelligent approach to managing financial technology and business risks; contribute to engagement planning and ensure that products/deliverables meet contract/work plans; coordinate the utilization of people, processes, and technologies to improve effectiveness and help manage costs; audit SAS-70 controls and manage clients and engagement managements expectations; help clients to understand the complexity of issues such as performance, privacy, risk, controls, and data analysis; address the business risks that threaten strategic objectives around growth and profitability; enhance effective management of the business, technology, and financial risks on a sustained basis; recognize and communicate opportunities to sell "add-on" work to client.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Business Analytics, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent).

  • Eighteen months of banking and securities risk advisory experience.

  • Experience must include eighteen months of:

  • Utilizing and analyzing complex models, reading and writing scripts, and identifying model weaknesses utilizing R Studio and R programming language to understand the logic adopted for developing the statistical models, and for testing the accuracy of the model implementation;

  • Designing tests to evaluate model robustness and assess model stability under various scenarios, including recession and growth, by analyzing the changes in the estimated model parameters and resulting forecasts, achieved using statistical tests;

  • Designing, assimilating, and analyzing data for risk assessment project for a leading bank utilizing SQL;

  • Conceptualizing and designing dashboards for data analysis and regulatory compliance report generation, and applying visualization techniques in transaction monitoring to find anomalies in payment data using tools, including Tableau and R Studio;

  • Developing test methodologies and performing testing under Office of the Controller of the Currency (OCC) consent order, including area of loan modifications, payment processing, and foreclosures to ensure OCC consent order compliance; and

  • Conducting ongoing transaction monitoring and analysis utilizing Anti-Money Laundering (AML ).

  • Position requires approximately 80% travel.
