IBM Associate Partner, Digital Telecommunications in New York, New York


As an IBM Associate Partner, you directly help clients transform their business and solve complex problems. You will define the scope and vision for projects that deliver customized solutions using your knowledge of IBM platforms. You are a technical leader, serving as a liaison among business partners, technical resources, and project stakeholders.

Your Role and Responsibilities

IBM Global Business Services (GBS) is hiring an Associate Partner (AP) with subject matter expertise leading digital initiatives in the Telecommunications industry. You will have direct involvement selling and delivering projects related to digital transformation programs, commerce / CRM programs, marketing programs, etc. to fundamentally transform the customer and/or employee experience.

Responsibilities include:

**Lead pre-sales activities, assessments, and the delivery of transformational solutions

**Establish and maintain deal focused, trusted relationships with clients and partners

** Scope, solution, propose, close, and deliver digital initiatives end-to-end. This includes familiarity with assessment, project management, design, and build initiatives.

**Business case development, project and program management, proposal writing and business management

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

**At least 5 years of experience selling and delivering consulting services projects

**At least 5 years of experience in the Digital space (examples: web, mobile, CRM’s such as, marketing platforms such as Adobe)

**At least 3 years of experience in formal project management

**At least 5 years of experience with people leadership, managing a direct team of 3 people or more

**At least 3 years of experience in business development and sales of consulting services of $3M+ / year

**At least 3 years of experience delivering complex consulting services projects

**At least 3 years of experience managing and leading teams

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

**Experience in the Telecommunications industry

**At least 8 years of experience negotiating and selling consulting services projects

**At least 8 years of experience in formal project management methodology

**At least 8 years of experience in business development and sales of consulting services of $5-6M+ / year
