Marsh & McLennan Business Analyst in New York, New York

Mercer is currently seeking a Business Analyst to join their dynamic and diverse team. In this role, you will be responsible for: Translating business strategies and objectives into business requirements Identifying, verifying, and documenting functional and operational requirements using requirements management methodology and tools Testing and analyzing final requirements Ensuring requirements are communicated effectively to parties responsible for technical development and implementation Qualifications Bachelor’s degree preferred; or equivalent work experience 3+ years’ experience analyzing business problems and designing successful solutions Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build working relationships with IT, Business Managers and other colleagues Experience in defining processes using process modeling tools Strong SQL skills; advanced Microsoft Office skills Experience of working in large scale insurance environments (brokers, carriers beneficial) Must be able to work well in a team environment Resourceful, self-starter, flexible, pro-active, and customer-oriented At Mercer, we make a difference in the lives of more than 110 million people every day by advancing their health, wealth, and careers.
