Business Proposal Specialist, DMP, ODC
RFP/Proposal Specialist reporting into the head of GTM for the DMP, is vital to
ensuring the Oracle Data Cloud continues to drive adoption among the world’s
top advertisers. The key focus will be to create a new framework to support ODC
enterprise DMP sales team. The content produced will cover both high-level
enterprise strategy and very tactical & technical details. He/She is
experienced in enterprise level selling process with large scale multi-million
dollar contracting efforts, developing proposals. Typical tasks include: developing winning themes for
proposals to the frontline sales and vertical DMP team’s, develop
feature/benefit analysis, create storyboards, executive summaries, RFP
responses, review and submit final proposal. He/She is experienced in working
with broader internal teams to drive joint efforts on proposals, has a good
grasp of the digital advertising and marketing technology space and has proven
success managing multiple projects to specific deadlines.
A successful candidate will be
highly motivated and driven, goal-oriented, methodical and tenacious. The
candidate will be able to effectively interact across various teams. This
person will play a critical role in coordinating qualitative and quantitative
details in order to meet the customers objectives.
GTM Planning: Working withGeneral Managers and Sales Leaders to create a customized salessolution/frame work to support the nuances of each of the ODC businessunits. Creation and ownership of RFP/RFI process including roles andresponsibilitiesacross various businessunits. As well as prioritizing and delegation to stakeholders for multipleenterprise level requests at once.
RFP/RFI Strategy : Develop and own of theentire central database to be used by enterprise sales through the salescycle. Analyze historical win/loss reports as well as competitiveintelligence to reiterate upon content and overall process and strategy.
Project Management : Work with theenterprise sales teams to coordinate bid pursuits of Fortune 500 prospectsand the internal collaborations to participate and delivery responsesmanaged around deadlines.
RFP/RFI Process: Own the completion andfinal packaging for delivery of all BlueKai RFI/RFP’s.
Desired Skills & Qualifications
1-2 years ofexperience submitting proposals, including RFP/RFI’s
2-3 years ofexperience in digital advertising, data driven marketing, and working withagencies, Ad Tech/Mar Tech partners
Detail orientedwith strong organizational skills is a must
Excellentverbal, interpersonal and written communication skills is a must
Aproven track record of exceeding client deadline expectations
Demonstratedability to self-motivate, work in teams and be flexible with a fast-pacedand changing environment

Detailed Description and Job Requirements
Provide shared service direct support to the Field License Sales and Consulting Organizations. Management, production and delivery of high quality, compliant, and competitive proposals intended to win and generate new revenue for Oracle. Review completed proposal for responsiveness and compliance
Provide direct project management support for the delivery of high quality, competitive proposals to Oracle external prospects. Typical tasks may include: provide direct project management support for the delivery of high quality, competitive proposals. Develop win themes, maintain liaison with external partners and integrators participating in joint operations, analyze proposal to determine delivery specifications and preparation outlines, analyze Evaluation Criteria, develop Feature/Benefit tables, create Storyboards, provide direction regarding compliance with statutory, regulatory and commercial business guidelines provided by prospective and established customers, plan and create text/graphics preparation and control environment for virtual collaboration by internationally disbursed teams, establish and manage the proposal submission schedule, develop proposal preparation instructions, create compliance and author response matrices, develop writing instructions for authors, plan and conduct project kickoff meetings, manage the execution of the proposal development plan, contribute to and/or write executive summaries, establish document version control methods, create document review directions and procedures, manage review and edit cycles, coordinate the final assembly and delivery of proposal, review final proposal for compliance and responsiveness.
Proposal management support experience of 8 years. A bachelors degree is preferred, technical background or industry experience a plus. Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal and writing skills. Experienced in using tools such as Adobe Acrobat, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Able to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Flexible, team-oriented attitude.
