A career in our Consumer Finance, within Financial Markets Business Advisory services, will provide you with the opportunity to contribute to a variety of audit, regulatory, valuation, and financial analyses services to design solutions that address our clients’ complex accounting and financial reporting challenges, as well as their broader business issues.

Responsibilities

As a Manager, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Proactively assist in the management of a portfolio of clients, while reporting to Senior Managers and above

  • Be involved in the financial management of clients

  • Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients

  • Contribute to the development of your own and team’s technical acumen

  • Develop strategies to solve complex technical challenges

  • Assist in the management and delivering of large projects

  • Train, coach, and supervise staff

  • Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues

  • Continue to develop internal relationships and your PwC brand

Preferred Qualifications :

Preferred Knowledge/Skills :

Thorough knowledge of Consumer Finance, Banking and/or SEC experience. Knowledge of industry, including origination/acquisition to liquidation, as well as the ability to advise and implement solutions to client. Thorough knowledge of relevant accounting pronouncements for consumer finance assets, quality, financial risk management, controls, operations, compliance and auditing consumer finance companies. Considerable knowledge of mortgage banking secondary markets and capital markets in general.

Sustained technical expertise, including regulatory compliance, control testing, loan servicing operations, loan repurchases, foreclosures. Demonstrated the ability to interact and manage aspects of client engagements. Direct, review, develop and manager staff to deliver quality professional services to clients.
