Core Business Operations

The US Core Business Operations Portfolio supports design, implementation, and operation of "heart of the business" transactional systems and core operations, including process redesign, large program management, systems integration, and cloud engineering.

Work you ll do

As a Manager, you will lead and deliver small or components of large, complex client engagements that identify, design, and implement creative business and technology solutions for large companies. Manager level responsibilities include: providing service excellence by identifying key client business issues, determining client needs by supplementing the standard assessment techniques and tools with innovative approaches, evaluating and validating analysis and developing recommendations for the client in the context of the overall engagement. You will be expected to implement and oversee the quality of deliverables and effectively manage the team and day-to-day relationships to ensure exceptional performance. Managers participate in the development and presentation of proposals for business development activities.

As a Flexible Consumption Solution Architect, you will design and architect end-to-end solution to enable complex subscription models. You will interact daily with key business and IT executives and lead multiple teams in various strategy and implementation activities

Responsibilities will include:

  • Client Management : Manage day to day interactions with executive clients and sponsors

  • Delivery : Manage and deliver components of client engagements that identify, design, and implement creative business solutions for large companies. Responsibilities include, among others, managing teams in the identification of business requirements, product simplification and alignment, capability design and planning, technology/vendor selection and planning and business launch readiness

  • Business Development : Develop and maintain contact with top decision makers at key clients; organize and lead pursuit teams; participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process; contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies

  • People Development : Perform role of counselor and coach; provide input and guidance into the staffing process; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices

Qualifications

Required:

  • 6 years of relevant technology consulting or industry experience as a Solution Architect delivering moderate to complex force.com platform, ERP, subscription billing and revenue management solutions

  • Experience in leading Lead-To-Cash architecture assessment and developing a roadmap based on business strategy

  • Must have experience leading 2-3 complex full-cycle business transformations including leading clients and consulting staff through end-to-end solution architecture design and implementation

  • Experience in designing solution blueprints for one or more of key solution stacks Oracle BRM, SAP Hybris, Amdocs, Ericsson, Aria Systems, Zuora, and GoTransverse

  • Knowledge of major Enterprise Architecture frameworks e.g., TOGAF, DoDAF

  • Knowledge and application of key architecture governance models, assessment methodology, underlying tools, and supporting processes (e.g. architecture approval, architecture change control, architecture's role in project and standards oversight).

  • Review functional and technical team deliverables for compliance with architecture standards, guidelines and leverages leading practices

  • Experience in business requirements gathering, use cases documentation, business analysis, systems design and integration, user interface design, analytics and implementation

  • Must have experience successfully leading complex technical engagements and teams, throughout the entire project lifecycle, with team sizes ranging from 5-10 resources.

  • Experience in Waterfall and Agile methodologies

  • Bachelor s Degree or 4 years equivalent professional experience.

  • A willingness to travel 80 - 100% of the time (Monday Thursday/Friday)

Preferred:

  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint)

  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment

  • Experience mentoring and coaching others

  • An advanced degree in the area of specialization is preferred
