Reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer for Marsh, the Global Talent & Inclusion Leader will lead our overall Talent Management agenda to build individual and organizational capability as well as advance the culture, people and performance of the firm. This Leader will leverage the existing ‘Talent’ colleagues, resources and tools across Marsh, creating a top performing and highly collaborative community. The scope of the role includes the following areas and may be expanded to include others:

Scope of Responsibilities
Talent & Performance
Developing and implementing the strategy to enhance performance management, talent review and succession planning, and colleague engagement across the organization
Drive and administer the Talent Review process globally; identifying gaps in succession and talent management and providing advice and solutions to close these gaps. Creating and driving a simple and transparent talent pool for key positions from which talent can be drawn across globally; on a frequent basis matching vacancies / gaps with available talent
Driving performance management strategy to improve effectiveness of goal setting and year-end performance appraisals by partnering with different HR stakeholders to ensure alignment
Learning & Development
Developing strategy for ongoing colleague development partnering closely with Global Learning and Development Lead to identify opportunities across the organization
Overseeing the development of the Global Learning & Development Plan, through close partnership with the Global Learning Leader to ensure global, regional and local programs and tools are aligned. Areas of focus may include leading/managing teams, technical learning, onboarding, mandatory training / certification, soft skills / team building, and other programs
Diversity & Inclusion
Ensuring diversity and inclusion and broader colleague engagement strategies are aligned with business units and corporate functions and appropriately positioned within company
Provide meaningful tools and analytics that enable leadership to accelerate D&I performance and integrate efforts into business as usual processes QualificationsEducation and Experience
Bachelor Degree required
15+ Years of experience in a role leading Talent Management initiatives; must be comfortable with ambiguity, be able to design and execute, be flexible, and be ready to hit the ground running on these important initiatives
Proven experience in developing and implementing talent strategies with demonstrated results
Familiarity with HR practices in US and multinational companies
Experience working effectively across a complex, global matrixed organization
