IBM HR Technology Leader - IBM Talent Suite in New York, New York

Job Description

Do you want to drive big change? The Talent Suite Support team is looking for a leader that will break down barriers, drive innovative projects and bolster momentum for this small but mighty team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing the Talent Suite’s involvement with strategic integration projects such as Workday and Agile TA, as well as emerging cognitive HR technologies including Watson Candidate Assistant, IBM Watson Recruitment, and Myca career advisor.

  • Staying in tune with the Talent Acquisition (TA) strategy, anticipating changes in the TA landscape, addressing needs as they evolve, attending leadership calls, communicating strategic direction down to the team

  • Collaborating with the elaborate network of IBM systems to identify and implement technical solutions, finding innovative ways to connect data in IBM systems to increase data integrity, build efficiencies, and maximize analytic opportunities.

  • Reinforcing Agile framework for productivity and ensuring the right projects get delivered. Conducting sprint planning and managing backlog with the client

  • Being an influencer for IBM’s product development through feedback and collaboration with the IBM Kenexa Talent Suite product managers

  • Coaching, driving skills development within the team. Focusing on technical skills, client engagement, design thinking, and agile methodology to keep skills up to date within a fast evolving field

This role leads a global team and supports a global client, but sits on-site at either the Research Triangle Park, NC site or Littleton, MA site. "

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Ability to develop a basic technical understanding of applications

  • Ability to apply design thinking methodology to discussions, looking at outcomes

  • Ability to evaluate and effectively communicate outcomes and ROI for projects

  • Willingness to explore new solutions and take risks

  • Ability to lead agile work teams

  • A focus on user experience

Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

  • Basic understanding of existing IBM HR systems

  • Basic understanding of integration methods including APIs

  • Understanding of change management fundamentals

  • User experience design
