The Junior Print Producer/Traffic, (JPP) reporting into the Senior Manager of Print Production & Studio, assists the Print Production team with the workflow for retail print projects including print specs, sizes, retouching direction and approvals on print ready files. The JPP will also work with project management, the retail creative team, studio, retouching and proofreading to ensure quality, color and image consistency throughout Verizon’s entire brand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Sr. Print Producer/Print Producers with mechanical sizes needed, timing and schedule of projects.

  • Route resized mechanicals from partner agencies and monitor changes and revisions.

  • Work with Sr. Print Producer/Print Producers when briefing studio retoucher on retouching specs and direction for projects.

  • Schedule review meetings.

  • Assist and maintain brand guidelines for Sr. Print Producer/Print Producers.

  • Assist with requests from external partners, partner agencies and production vendors.

  • Assist Sr. Print Producer/Print Producer when reviewing color proofs with retoucher, pre press technician and creative team.

  • Maintain and manage group status report.

  • Advise Sr. Print Producer/Print Producer of any problems before they impact the project, team or processes.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or one or more years of work experience.

Even better if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or three plus years of experience of professional-level print production expertise within an agency, design studio or equivalent.

  • Knowledge of production/printing techniques, skills, tools and procedures for the applicable media.

  • Working knowledge of CMYK and RGB workflows, file resolution/formats, printing, substrates and finishing techniques for retail, OOH and publications.

  • Knowledge/understanding of Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, InDesign and Acrobat.

  • Comfort in a fast-past environment while managing urgent deadlines, shifting priorities, organizing and reporting a variety of production details.

  • Seeks appropriate support from other team members to help develop assets for specific projects.

  • A keen eye to color and detail and is prideful and diligent in the final preparation of work including work in progress and final assets.
