POSITION PURPOSE

Develop and manage key regional relationships with capital project decision makers at both the regional and national account level. This is done through outreach and engagement of principal relationship managers for these customers in a team selling environment. Manager-Capital Accounts Supports multiple vertical markets such as Multi-family, Building Contractors, Sr. Care, Institutional, High Traffic Commercial, and Retail Pro. Responsible for driving revenue through development of strategic marketing and sales plans in support of organizational strategy and objectives. Manage the roll out of all new programs, monitor and report sales progress for assigned customer groups, resolve customer issues by investigating problems and developing solutions, understand concepts and ability to present a program based on Supply Chain Management, complete monthly and quarterly sales reporting, monitor and communicate changes within the marketplace, customer base and competition. Must live near a major airport and be able to travel 60-80% of the time.

MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • 25%- Customer facing meetings, sales calls and property walks

  • 25%- Email, phone calls, CRM update, and computer based follow up.

  • 20%- Relationship outreach, management and follow up with internal sales team partners

  • 10%- General Administrative follow up (expense reports, scheduling) and training

  • 20%- Travel and transit time, other work can be done.

NATURE AND SCOPE

  • This position reports to the National Sales Manger, Renovations Plus.

  • This position has no direct reports.

ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

Environment:

  • Typically located in a comfortable indoor area. There may be regular exposure to mild physical discomfort from factors such as dust, fumes or odors, temperature extremes, loud noise, strong drafts, or bright lights.

Travel:

  • Typically requires overnight travel more than 50% of the time.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Must be eighteen years of age or older.

Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Additional Minimum Qualifications:

Education Required:

  • The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

Years of Relevant Work Experience: 5 years

Physical Requirements:

  • Most all of the time is spent sitting in the same position or standing/walking or there is some requirement to lift or handle material or equipment of moderate weight (8-20 pounds).

Additional Qualifications:

  • BS/BA preferred in related discipline; Marketing, Support Chain or Managerial Studies

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of cabinets and countertops

  • Excellent computer & technical skills including MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Outlook

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and good listening skills

  • Ability to accomplish tasks in fast-paced environment while following company procedures

  • Good interpersonal skills, ability to interact with vendors and internal customers at all levels, and provide excellent service to customers via phone, internet and in person

  • Attention to detail, organization, and ability to prioritize

  • Dependable, excellent attendance, good decision making ability and strong ethics

  • Availability to work additional hours as necessary to complete high priority projects

  • Must be able to travel up to 80%
