Senior Business Development Manager in one of the fastest-growing

divisions of our company, you will drive deals with our Agency partners

across all of ODC’s (Oracle Data Cloud) major products, including digital audiences,

media and measurement solutions, DMP, Moat, and Grapeshot’s suite of context

capabilities. Oracle provides a

comprehensive and unified data solution to drive prospecting at scale, audience

insights, and cross–channel marketing actions, and we are now partnering more

and more deeply with Agencies to help them utilize these assets to drive ROI

for their clients.


Senior Business Development Manager is responsible for negotiating and closing

strategic deals with our Agency partners.

As part of this role, you will perform market analyses to identify new strategic

business opportunities and work closely with teams such as Legal, Finance, and

Product to scope and implement these solutions.

Specifically, as these deeper Agency partnerships are stood up and

evolve, we are looking for a Senior Business Development Manager who can be a

deal strategy specialist to solve complex business, organizational, and

industry problems for the highest priority deals within the organization.

Keyresponsibilities include:


Oracle’s full suite of products and provide input on enhancements required for

the Agency ecosystem


business opportunities with Agencies and strategize with the team on the best

way to structure each partnership (e.g. commercials, contract structure,

product positioning etc.)


opportunities for consistency across deals, create frameworks to be used across

teams, train teams of other deal structures that may impact future deals, etc.


strategic projects that have the greatest impact for ODC and our Agency



addition to the deal and strategic project focus horizontally across the team,

you will also be responsible for the end-to-end management of Agency

contracting alignment and execution

Skillsand Qualifications:


years’ experience negotiating contracts and closing deals


working in technology contracting and with or within an Advertising Agency a



verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills with the ability to

lead client presentations and assist in contract negotiations


ability to self-motivate, stay focused, work in teams, be flexible, and keep a

level head within a fast-paced and changing environment


to effectively manage up and out to proactively ensure key stakeholders are up

to speed


solutions driven – identifying a problem is not enough


at navigating a complex marketplace and organization


organizational, time-management, and multi-tasking skills


understanding of data, analytics, measurement, context, DMP


understanding of general marketing practices, targeting practices, and online

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Builds long term, strategic relationships with named and vertical business alliance partners.

Facilitates the development of strategic marketing and new business plans for all assigned partners to meet or exceed assigned business goals. Works with Partners to identify opportunities and create demand through lead generation activities and target account selling strategies. Actively track joint sales pipeline and meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets. Develop and maintain relationships with global counterparts to leverage corporate initiatives and to ensure adherence to Alliances and Channel standards. Monitor partners business results, making recommendations for improvements to increase penetration for the strategic partners. Establish rules of engagement and operational escalation procedures to quickly identify and resolve issues.

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Demonstrated track record developing and managing Global Partnerships and driving Partner account activity. Prefer strong analytical, sales channel and marketing skills. Prefer 8 years of related experience with a secondary education in Marketing or a related field.
