What can you expect? The PCS Compliance Officer/Specialist provides colleagues with regulatory and operational compliance counsel and support. The Compliance Officer/Specialist is a senior advisor on client service strategies and initiatives, and collaborates closely with clients and Marsh personnel to ensure that compliance policies and procedures, market capabilities, and service philosophy keeps pace with the needs of our clients and colleagues. This is a high visibility position that provides a candidate with the ability to demonstrate their level of insurance acumen and interact with all levels of the business. We will count on you to: Lead in the mitigation of errors and omissions liability risks through negotiations with Personal Lines carriers, primarily in the high net worth market Act as senior advisor on client service strategies and initiatives, and collaborate closely with clients, Marsh colleagues and leadership to ensure that compliance policies and procedures are upheld Participate as SME on business professional standards and best practices perform quarterly sweeps for liability reporting; licensing and surplus lines protocols; market and insurer financial security; carrier contract review Coordinate privacy policy updates and annual mailing Understand the current and evolving insurance risk landscape and trends, including environmental and regulatory forces. Be instrumental in the review, revision, and expansion of compliance procedures, processes, and protocols. What you need to have: Aptitude and attitude for Compliance, ethical behavior and avoiding conflicts of interest demonstrated by personal integrity and accountability. Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills. Minimum of 8 years Insurance Industry experience. Is a self-starter, who can work independently, while also knowing when to work in collaboration with colleagues, managers and the business. A demonstrable ability to manage projects to completion. Individual P&C license or willingness to obtain one. What makes you stand out: Determination and drive to ensure the best outcome for clients and colleagues. Ability to make difficult, and sometimes unpopular, decisions and support them to leadership.
