About our team:
The Verizon Experience Team is a new internal group tasked with evolving the Verizon customer experience across all channels and touchpoints through the design and implementation of innovative products and services that customers love.
Working from a newly designed studio space at 140 West Street, the team is assembling the brightest designers, design strategists, researchers, and product managers to collaborate within teams shaping the most important touch point across the customer journey.
About this role:
The .com/Mobile Experience Manager will lead the integration of Customer Experience principles into Verizon’s digital platforms. This position will drive a holistic shopping experience for customers regardless of channel with the goals of driving sales, brand loyalty and in support of other business priorities. The candidate’s initiatives will require the ability to work across multiple business lines, influence stakeholders and drive change to create world-class customer experiences. They will develop roadmaps to strategically plan out launches and key initiatives to line up with retail efforts and also determine channel-specific needs. The Manager and their team will be focused on designing a framework to leverage insights and integrate controls into best practices. For all projects, the candidate will partner closely with numerous key teams to drive alignment in consumer-facing touchpoints and to identify integrated needs in support of broader work streams. The Manager will champion Verizon’s Next Gen experience transformation and help integrate key principles into the digital platforms.
What you’ll be doing:
Lead Integration Strategy:
This position requires the ability to lead the customer experience integration strategy for .com and Mobile related to Wireless efforts. The candidate will develop and manage experience roadmaps supporting launches and key products, services and initiatives across the Wireless digital platforms. They will define and lead the strategy and processes to drive consistency between digital and retail, ensuring a holistic customer experience. The candidate will focus on aligning the channels in key areas such as product curation and organization, positioning, messaging, creative elements and other experience-driven touchpoints. They will partner with other teams to create and execute processes to enable these efforts, as well as provide recommendations to senior leaders.
CMO and Business Team Integrations:
This position is responsible for driving alignment and integration with cross-functional teams and managing the ongoing communication with these stakeholders. Key partners include, but not limited to Retail Experience, Creative Teams, Digital Operations, Integrated Marketing, Go To Market, Brand Management, Digital Operations, Product, Device. Collaboration with internal partners/integrated is critical in driving stronger, holistic experiences aiding the customer in a more seamless experience with Verizon.
The Manager will potentially manage a small team to accomplish their scope. The individuals will partner closely with their Retail Experience counterparts, as well as other groups. The leader will provide strategic oversight for their team’s efforts, as well as advancing key efforts through the business and leadership.
What we’re looking for...
You'll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree required
Strong business acumen and critical/strategic thinking ability
8+ years marketing experience
Retail and/or other sales experience
The ability to travel 10-15% of the time
Digital marketing experience
Even better if you have:
Ability to manage several projects simultaneously with close attention to detail and within time constraints
Demonstrated ability of leading cross-functional teams
Track record of executing programs and driving measurable results
Ability to present ideas and analysis in an effective manner
Strong communication skills
Experience in Project Managing across functional teams
Demonstrated experience in creating and implementing effective marketing/communications plans
Ability to work independently and make quick decisions
Demonstrated skill of flexibility to respond to changing direction
Strong people management experience
Strong writing skills
Working knowledge of Verizon retail and digital platforms
Availability during non-business hours, as needed
Located in Basking Ridge, NJ withsome visits to 140 West
