Oracle Sales Performance Management Senior Manager in New York, New York

Manages the development, establishment and direction of regional, role based, or line of business sales training strategies and policies to enable optimal productivity of the sales organization. Responsible for managing the design, development and deployment of product, process and skills enablement programs that drive elite sales performance within Oracle's global sales organization.

Determines and evaluates sales training needs for the organization. Develops and directs the build of sales training curriculum and programs. Organizes and manages sales training sessions. Facilitates formal and informal presentations to senior management, sales organization, and other internal functions as appropriate. May work with other Oracle team to incorporate corporate or regional strategy into training curriculum. Provides guidance within the sales organization and shares best practices. Analyzes performance of sales personnel to determine need for additional training. May oversee a staff of sales trainers and/or Sales Performance Designers and others. Keeps informed of new training methods and techniques.

Manages and controls activities in multi-functional areas of sections. Ensures appropriate operational planning is effectively executed to meet Corporate business needs. We are looking for an experienced Manager of Facilitation who has the passion, experience and know how to inspire and lead a team of sales facilitators. The Oracle Sales and Partner Academy (OSPA) is responsible for delivering industry leading training to Sales and Solution Engineer professionals across the North America region. You ll need proven leadership experience, an operational mind-set and a strong background in delivering sales skills training. Sales leadership experience would be a distinct advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of Field Sales & Solution Engineer Facilitators across NA focused on delivering world class training to the Oracle Sales workforce.

  • Recruit, hire, onboard and develop world class Facilitators to strengthen Oracle s sales engine.

  • Build learning execution plans that align to the needs of the business as defined by the OSPA Performance Partners.

  • Work with internal groups to plan and execute delivery of training plans and multi-day programs.

  • Work closely with local Sales Performance Partners and align strategies to provide an excellent sales enablement environment for the Sales Org.

  • Coaching and development of the Trainers/Facilitators skill set.

  • Continuous development of the sales facilitation techniques and skills to deliver the OSPA curriculum

  • Foster strong team spirit and motivation within the team through display of role model qualities and contagious can do attitude.

  • Promote x-LOB cooperation and synergies with sales enablement, sales, SE, support, and manager.

  • Provide feedback to OSPA Content Leads and Performance Partners to help support alignment of business requirements and effective classroom facilitation of courses.

  • Ensure facilitators are familiar with Oracle Products, Tools, Sales Practices, and OSPAs offerings.

  • Meet with employees, when necessary, to plan work and solicit feedback and requirements.

  • Deliver programs effectively, achieving high scoring evaluation ratings and feedback.

  • Work with the global OSPA content team as needed, to facilitate course development.

  • Work with the global tools and technology team to coordinate program delivery efforts.

  • Analyze and challenge current working methods to create improvements in processes and results.

Key Qualifications

  • Proven experience in managing, interacting and influencing senior level stakeholders.

  • Extensive experience in sales enablement for a high tech company.

  • Excellent presentation, facilitation, classroom delivery and management skills.

  • 7 years management experience with a remote located team.

  • Able to travel across NA

  • Consultative approach to identifying, assessing and prioritizing training requirements.

  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal.

  • High level of discipline in work practices and an eye for detail.

  • Strong planning, organization, and implementation skills.

  • Flexibility and agility to operate in a dynamic environment.
