Marsh & McLennan Senior Marketing Manager in New York, New York
The purpose of this role is to build a stronger market presence for, and accelerate the growth of, the Mercer Health & Benefits business by expanding our digital footprint and building targeted demand generation strategies/campaigns with our broader North America marketing team. You will create rich, personalized and relevant content and digital experiences for our audiences that map to our strategic priorities and drive awareness, acquisition and retention. Your leadership will create demand and collaborate with the sales team to help nurture the leads and close sales with compelling content and communications. Being an exceptionally collaborative self-starter is essential as we think big and operate lean. The ability to learn fast and adapt with agility will be critical so a strong grounding in healthcare and benefits will be a big plus. The role reports to the CMO of U.S. Health & Benefits.

Responsibilities: As a content specialist and data-driven integrated marketing manager, own the marketing funnel for the segment of the business.
Develop clear and compelling messages to differentiate our positioning and solutions in the market segment Create high-quality content and creatives (points of view, white papers, blog posts, case studies, infographics, videos) to communicate across digital (website, blog, search, social, email) and traditional (PR, events) channels Conduct client/prospect segmentation to identify high-propensity leads and opportunities Develop integrated marketing campaigns to build awareness (e.g. press, blogs, events), generate leads (e.g. white papers, webcasts, infographics) and enable sales (e.g. sales presentations, marketing collateral, diagnostic tools). Build and manage a rich content/editorial calendar that attracts a qualified audience to our owned properties including website, blog, social media channels, and paid media including digital ads, content syndication, and more. Maniacal focus on quality lead generation: drive traffic to the website, implement nurture tactics to convert high quality leads through calls-to-action, landing pages and other content, and enable the sales team to close the leads Develop automated lead nurturing processes and capabilities that continuously test and improve key messages, engagement and operational efficiency of our digital channels including email, social, blogging and more as appropriate. Establish closed loop analytics with sales to understand how our demand generation activity turns into customers; continually refine our process to convert opportunities into the active pipeline. Develop, maintain and improve the website experience and results.
Lead the building of the website strategy and content for priority solutions in partnership with our digital COE Analyze and interpret the behaviors and patterns in response to specific creatives and messaging. Create and implement new projects and creative ideas for continuous improvement. Develop a management system to ensure continuous improvement Deliver strong and collaborative project management and leadership that fosters a culture of creativity, execution excellence, and accountability.

Bachelor Degree or higher, with major in marketing, business, technology /digital innovation preferable. Experience:
8 to 10 years of experience in content marketing, demand generation, digital marketing Knowledge and skills (general and technical): Skills
Demonstrated skills in B2B message development, content creation for all mediums, digital marketing, and sales support Strong writing and communication skills Proven track record in employing digital content and channels to drive lead generation and sales, and analytics for continuous improvement Excellent project management skills with strong orientation toward execution and implementation Ability to target new channels and develop new markets Ability to adapt to market and client needs with agility and flexibility Ability to engage partnerships, sponsorships and channel activity Experience with Marketo and Salesforce is required Experience marketing to midsize businesses is preferred Healthcare and/or Benefits experience is preferred Professional Services/Solutions knowledge a plus Attributes
