Verizon Sr. Social Responsibility Analyst in New York, New York

What you’ll be doing...

This role is on the Societal Impact team as part of Verizon's larger socially responsible business team, and is accountable for driving sustainable and responsible business practices at the intersection of economic, environmental, and societal need across the entire portfolio of Verizon companies, including Verizon Media.

  • Create scalable ways to unify employees and make an impact through volunteerism.

  • Manage relationships with nonprofit partners to ensure volunteer programs are executed from end to end.

  • Lead strategy and campaigns to engage the company’s talent to make a positive impact with Verizon’s commitment to uplifting communities.

  • Oversee Strategic Team Building related to social responsibility and develop unique programs for Verizon Employees to make an impact in communities around the world.

  • Manage partner relationships, analyze the programs impact, and explore potential expansion opportunities.

  • Create plans and manage the execution of the program from end to end.

  • Manage annual donated media portfolio including working with nonprofits to gather assets, copy-write, create, and launch ads across Verizon Media properties and third party network.

  • Oversee the AOL.com Make a Difference module, display, mobile, and video PSA programs. Track and report metrics including impact, impressions, clicks and media values.

  • Proactively work with the Verizon Media Sales Team to pitch partnerships including cause marketing offerings to drive incremental revenue.

  • Manage annual partnerships such as with Ad Council.

  • Identify new opportunities to expand donated media portfolio across Verizon.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.

  • Experience in cause marketing or a related function.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.

  • Managed multiple competing priorities.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Willingness to travel.
