Job Overview: Oliver Wyman Human Capital is seeking an exceptional individual to join the NA Financial Services Talent Management team, which is responsible for staffing, retaining and managing the population of 200 consultants. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for the talent management and staffing of consultants in this practice. This is a highly demanding position in a fast-paced, professional services environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Talent Management • Collaborate with Talent Managers, consultants and project teams to provide “best fit” staffing solutions. Provide TMs and Partners with appropriate team options and subsequent follow through on staffing transactions. • Ensure that all projects are staffed within the agreed weekly staffing process • Ensure data integrity and accuracy of staffing system (Retain) and project pipeline (CRM) • Take lead role in administering the weekly FS team staffing meetings, including ensuring open needs pipeline, availability reports and meeting invites are updated, and all materials are circulated to relevant stakeholders in advance of meetings • Understand potential staffing capacity issues and escalate to appropriate Talent Managers and/or the FS NA Head of Talent Management when necessary • Manage the FS affiliates year-end review process, and Mid-Year Career Planning process • Manage all beach staffing for Business Development, IC and other non-billable work as needed • Provide project staffing coverage for TMs during vacations or surges times

Professional Development • Provide career development counseling and guidance to consultants, including ability to conduct difficult conversations when needed • Work with client teams to ensure that consultants are maintaining steep development trajectories • Ensure that formal performance management and staffing decisions are integrated with consultant career plans and aspirations • Ensure that assigned consultants are receiving timely, action-oriented feedback • Help to identify training needs and work with the Training and Development team to develop and deliver trainings • Keep “finger on the pulse” on consultant satisfaction and morale. Surface issues and concerns appropriately and diplomatically to relevant parties • Pro-active management of the Majoring and affiliation process working with the TM team to track requests

Data Integrity, Analysis & Reporting • Ensure data integrity of resource planning database (Retain) and take responsibility for the accuracy of its records by; – Conduct monthly/quarterly quality review to detect any outdated information and work with TMC to update accordingly – Ensure consultant skills and experiences are updated in Retain based on project reviews – Ensure consultant files and bios are up to date. Work with Talent Coordinator to update files with missing information o Semi Annual consultant bio updates • Produce staffing, availability, utilization, capacity reports as needed • Track and maintain the WWW report and distribute to Practice contacts • Track Career Adviser & TM assignments report and ensure TCs update as needed • Help maintain CA loading report and highlight any overloading issues to TMs • Produce monthly FlexOW reports and ensure all extensions are approved by TMs/practice heads • Produce monthly American Leadership Team availability & utilization reports • Ad hoc reporting as needed

HC Processes • Track mobility for NA staff and work with HC Ops to administer visas • Administer all long haul & Golden Passport assignments
• Manage NA Holiday carry over and compliance • Ensure all experienced hire onboarding activities are captured on respective tracking sheets, save completed in consultant files

QualificationsExperience Required: • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience • 2 years+ work experience in a HR related role (recruitment, resourcing or generalist HR) • Good understanding of a consulting environment, interest in learning about Financial Services industry
