Reporting into the Team Leader, you will be the Contaminated Land Auditor Assistant and project manager for multiple projects of varying size and complexity. With an uncompromising commitment to health and safety and client service and in support of the Site Auditor, you will be a highly experienced environmental candidate with a strong knowledge of current State and National environmental legislation.
To be successful in this role you will be able to multi-task, liaise with clients and other environmental consultants, prepare bids and proposals, manage deadlines, prepare technical memorandums and Site Audit reports, manage project financials and provide coaching and mentoring to junior staff.
Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline such as environmental science, engineering, geology, or earth science
Minimum 10 years of experience in a consultancy environment, specifically contaminated land assessment and remediation
Certified Environmental Practitioner (Contaminated Sites), or similar accreditation
Technically strong in preliminary and detailed site investigations for soil, vapour, and groundwater within the Oli and Gas industry contaminated land industry
Experience in remediation services, including the preparation of remedial strategies and Remediation Action Plans, and related documentation
Detailed understanding of NSW, contaminated land legislation, including relevant planning guidelines and working knowledge of guidelines in other Australian jurisdictions
Experience as an Auditor’s assistant or leading a response to an Auditor
H&S training including: First Aid, NSW Construction Induction, and 24 or 40 hr HAZWOPER
