  • JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE

  • Serves on the Senior Leadership Team and is responsible for leading and implementing health system and hospital strategic goals as well as setting expectations for nursing practice for the organization.Plans, organizes, directs, and coordinates the operational, financial, personnel and other administrative activities of patient care services. Consults with and advises the COO and other organizational leaders on issues related to patient care as well as other operations of the Hospital. Recommends changes in policy, facilities, equipment, and programs in order to achieve organizational objectives. Functions as Administrative Representative to the organization and its clients as assigned by the COO.

  • EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required prior to position start date.

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing required. Master's degree in Nursing, Health Administration or Business preferred.

  • Five (5) years progressive RN leadership experience required.

  • Experience or training in concepts and principles of administration, organizational development, change theory, research, leadership and systems theory required.

  • Healthcare Provider BLS required.
