We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated individual to fill the position of Accounting/Payroll Clerk at our Manufacturing Facility located in Niagara Falls, New York.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Audits and verifies the accuracy of plant time and material invoices and freight bills.

  • Interfaces with vendors to resolve invoicing issues.

  • Supports corporate payroll function. Reviews payroll transactions daily. Assists employees with payroll related questions.

  • Completes various weekly and monthly overtime and inventory reports.

  • Updates various cost data on a monthly basis.

  • Enters contract engineering and security payroll data into Peoplesoft. Provides new contractor data to Time & Labor Group.

  • Performs various accounting functions during monthly close process.

  • Completes purchase requisitions for various plant activities.

  • Perform other accounting/administrative functions as assigned.


  • High School Graduate or GED required.

  • 3 to 5 years accounting/payroll experience preferred.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong organizational skills with ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks with competing deadlines.

  • Ability to read, write and speak in English.

Additional Desired Qualifications:

  • Good computer skills with a working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, SAP, and PeopleSoft are desirable.
