Who you are:
As our Cloud Sales professional you can transform some of the largest organizations in the world. Your task will be to understand our client’s objectives and bring your expertise to bear on crafting the best solution to meet their needs.
You would be responsible for -
Articulating compelling value propositions that showcase an innovation led journey for our clients with IBM Cloud.
Rapidly growing sales in existing clients by using upsell and cross-sell sales plays
Developing market potential through lead generation, qualification, forecasting and closing sales
Together with our partners, guide prospective corporate & enterprise clients on how IBM solutions can contribute to their growth & success
Your daily activities would include -
Crafting introductory client presentations and delivering effective proposals
Identifying direct client leads, building pipeline and sales forecasts so as to meet monthly and quarterly sales quotas
Partnering with clients in ensuring successful deployment of their solution.
Collaborating with the Marketing team to ensure optimal lead generation and use of marketing tools in the assigned territory
Providing feedback on market strategy to leadership by monitoring competition and collating inputs from partners and clients
Crafting positioning, messaging and go-to-market strategies, case studies and white papers improving our brand awareness and cohesive messaging to the market
Ensuring up-to-date product and service offering knowledge by participating in educational opportunities

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
A rich sales / technical sales background and 8-12 years’ experience selling software solutions or enterprise software
The necessary business development & client management experience across multiple customer profiles (IT, LOB, CxOs) and industries (Manufacturing, Banking, Life Sciences, Retail and Professional Services Organizations)
A technology focused bent of mind, and an affinity for Cloud.
Motivation for sales, sales planning, territory management and persistence, all which allow you to prospect, qualify, solution and close large deals and consistently meet your sales goals
Practiced at clearly communicating your ideas verbally and in writing
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
In order to qualify for this return-ship, you must have been out of the full-time workforce for a minimum of 2 years.
