Who you are :-
• You will be performing installation, implementation, customization, operation, recovery and performance tuning
• You should have knowledge of the fundamental concepts and technologies associated with Unix administration
What you’ll do:
Engineering of systems administration-related solutions for various project and operational needs
Maintaining best practices on managing systems and services across all environments
Fault finding, analysis and of logging information for reporting of performance exceptions
Proactively monitoring system performance and capacity planning
Manage, coordinate, and implement software upgrades, patches, hot fixes on servers, workstations, and network hardware
Create and modify scripts or applications to perform tasks
Modify Platform automation and support Script
Develop and modify application Failover Scripts
Perform Clustering activities like Redhat, Veritas Cluster or SUN Cluster
Install, configure, upgrade automated Security health checking client and support automated Security health checking client
Installation, Configuration and Upgradation of Unix operating systems

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Relevant experience of 7 to 14 Years in Unix remote support administration.
Proven experience in any of the Unix platforms (Linux, AIX, Solaris or HP Unix)
Proven experience in Installation, Configuration and Upgradation of Device Drivers
Update Unix Operating system
Capability to plan and execute UNIX Security.
Knowledgeable on concepts of networking like TCP / IP and Virtualization.
Loading of software, Networking, TCP/IP, NFS, NIS and DNS.
Added experience in Cluster, SUSE, GPFS will be an added advantage
Preferred Tech and Prof Experience
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and assistance Automation of routine procedures.
Participate in a 24 x 7 on call engineer rotation, supporting our core services.
Maintain the service level agreement of all the operational incidents
