CACI International Program Manager in Norfolk, Virginia
CACI is seeking a Program Manager to support out NAVSEA Program.
What You’ll Get to Do:
You will play a key role in managing day-to-day activities for a major NAVSEA/SPAWAR BCAT 1 program in an Agile environment. You will be responsible for managing customer requirements and project schedules while working closely with the program team to coordinate the planning, scheduling, and testing of a technical refresh and legacy application migration project to a cloud environment. You will be expected to employ strong technical and organizational skills to coordinate requirements and deliverables with the customer, document best practices; schedule and prioritize tasks and gather inputs and prepare documentation or briefings. Duties could also include setting team direction, writing analyses on relatively short notice, responding to data calls, and maintaining the oversight over various team projects.
More About the Role:
Management of all technical, schedule, budget, and personnel requirements.
Structure or make recommendations for effective meetings, off-sites, briefings, program, etc. encompassing disparate IT technical, user, management and security stakeholders.
Recommend innovative, practical, and timely options for solutions that clearly delineate benefits/trade-offs to users, stakeholders, managers and security
Provide frequent program updates to the customer including quarterly program reviews capturing technical and program (milestones, expenditures, risks) execution
Proactively identify risks, develop and execution mitigation strategies as a partner to Customer representatives in the corresponding specialties of Data Migration, Human Systems integration, and mission support systems
Oversee the development of a Program Management Plan and Work Breakdown Structure
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Bachelor of Arts (BA)/Bachelor of Science (BS) from an accredited institution.
Minimum qualification includes five (5) years of professional experience as a Program Manager or Deputy Program Manager for a DoD Acquisition Category (ACAT) IA or Business Category (BCAT) I program.
Secret Clearance is required.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Current Project Management Professionally Certified individual with 8+ years of directly related experience in large IT Project execution.
Managing a team of disbursed cross-functional personnel in a dynamic, fast paced environment.
Ability to effectively communicate technical needs and issues to management and non-technical personnel.
Ability to build consensus and resolve complex issues in a timely fashion.
Experience with building and maintaining effective relationships with external stakeholders and government leadership.
Experience with MS Project, Project Documents/ MS Power Point/Briefings.
Earned Value Management Experience.
