Preferred Qualifications

As the Senior Project Manager you will oversee delivery of project management services for customers in the OMC APAC Consulting Services team.

You will possess demonstrable project management experience and be able to oversee the management of automated cross-channel marketing solutions – across both B2C and B2B platforms for some of Australia’s largest and most sophisticated marketers and brands.

As Senior Project Manager will have demonstrable and advanced subject matter expertise in the delivery of marketing programs and campaigns, and use these skills to develop, coordinate, test, and launch complex interactive marketing programs using the Oracle Marketing platform.

With a focus on high performance, customer satisfaction, employee engagement and commercial success, you will own the creation and updating of relevant project documentation,

including project plans, status updates and project estimates.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Senior member of a project management team, responsible for full services client engagement and services management on key strategic enterprise accounts.

  • Engaging on all client levels to understand client’s business objectives and KPIs and managing a team to deliver success accordingly.

  • Solid in standard project management techniques including agile and waterfall.

  • Understanding of the Oracle OMC platforms, business benefits and competitor differentiators to lead executive client conversations and propose next steps for clients.

  • Ability to negotiate client contracts and services pricing, and responsible for the financial management.

  • Proactive about client success and owning the services discussion.

  • Manage day to day OMC platform engagements with internal, and external teams across the full project lifecycle.

  • Can actively manage and resolve customer escalation, project scope issues, and technical challenges.

  • Reviews project requests from clients to determine how to implement using established processes and best practices, translates them into project deliverables and milestones.

  • Manages successful project closure and hand-off processes.

  • Is an internal thought leader and brings consulting best practice and standards to the table

  • Works proactively with the OMC ANZ Services leadership team to ongoing improve the services offerings and operational model.

  • Is a team mentor and plays an important part of the overall success of the service team.

  • Other tasks as required.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE and TRAINING

  • 5 years experience in small to medium sized project management for enterprise marketing departments, including traditional waterfall and agile project management techniques

  • 3 years relevant experience with digital production of automated marketing campaigns, programs – for global brands and customers.

  • Experience in senior stakeholder and executive engagement to be a client partner who drives best of breed quality on our accounts, including roadmap planning, contract negotiations and management of client escalations.

  • Proven leader of high performing teams delivering complex, fast-paced and high-volume digital campaigns and projects of work.

  • Extensive skills and experience developing and overseeing production management processes to drive quality, recovery and commercial success.

  • Passion for digital media and marketing automation, with strong knowledge of emerging technologies and trends.

  • Very strong understanding of cloud marketing automation, and experience with relevant automated cross-channel marketing platforms (e.g. Responsys, Eloqua).

  • Experience with budget and finance management.

  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including Project, Visio, PowerPoint and Word.

  • Proven ability to be a team player.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate and negotiate in a professional manner with clients and internal staff.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

As a member of the Consulting organization, you are responsible for ensuring that a quality, integrated software solution is delivered in a timely manner, at budget, and to our client

  • s satisfaction. This involves working closely with the client to understand and manage their expectations, as well as working closely with Oracle and third-party vendors to ensure delivery.

Create and manage an overall project plan (including budget, structure, schedule, and staffing needs) for one or more Oracle engagements. Monitor and report progress/changes against the plan. Drive implementation by providing motivation and direction.

Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures. A BS or BA in related fields. 3 - 6 years overall experience in functional or technical role.
