Role

Responsible for delivering in a

proactive approach Oracle Software Investment Advisory’s services at our Oracle

accounts.

Advises, optimizes and drives adoption

on licenses and subscriptions to align with our Oracle’s customers present and

future needs:

-Rationalize

and maximize the value of our Customer investment

  • Support our Customer to understand

their transition of on premise usage to Cloud

Scope

  • Partners with other Oracle LOB: Sales, KAD, Deal Management etc.

  • Reports to functionalmanager

  • Works in assigned Account(s) or territory

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for takingownership of a portfolio of strategic Oracle Customers, understanding theirspecific needs, and presenting appropriate recommendations

  • Responsible for governance, which involvesdesigning processes, procedures and long term technology roadmap to maximizevalue creation in accordance with Software Investment Advisory’s objectives

  • Personally visits high-profilecustomers on site and provides them with the information and insight they needto take the best decisions about their Oracle product purchase

  • Provides constructive feedbackduring customer facing account reviews to ensure continuous servicesimprovement and innovations

  • Drives strategic discussionwith multiple stakeholders at various levels (including C level) and delivers professionalpresentations and tenders up to Board level

  • Builds strong relationshipinternally and externally and acts as a facilitator for the flawless executionof Software Investment Advisory’s services

  • Leads and contributes towardsmultiple virtual project teams aimed towards improving customer engagement and serviceenablement

  • Owns the success of your activity against KPIs such as customer satisfaction,activity outcomes and service delivery timelines

  • Creates systematic business planning, monitoring and reporting of youractivity for assigned area

  • Operates in line with Oracle’sprocesses/procedures & core values

  • Supports peers in acquiringexperience (e.g. Customer facing situations, new products, new services)

Qualification

  • University degree or equivalentcombination of studies and experience in Computer Science

  • 8-10 years’ experience in acustomer facing role in the technology industry: consulting, accountmanagement, value engineering or customer success

Competencies

  • Understanding of IT technicalarchitectures and affinity with trends in enterprise software usage

  • Experience in managed softwareenvironment and subscription license entitlement (e.g. Cloud computing)

  • Ability to interpret andunderstand complex software deployment models (On-premise, Cloud and Hybrid),licensing and business practices and apply them to different scenarios

  • Experience in large and complexIT environments

  • Ability to work in aconsultative manner with the appropriate level of technical understanding andexperience to hold high-level discussions and negotiations

  • Ability to create businesscases using software deployment data and financial metrics such ROI, TCO andPayback periods

  • Ability to work on your owninitiative and in many different and challenging environments

  • Strong communication,presentation, business writing and professional skills, including being able toliaise with both technical/ business & internal/ external contacts

  • Ability to influence seniorstakeholders in order to gain credibility quickly, inspire trust and confidence

  • Ability to determine clientneeds with innovative approaches

  • Logical approach to dataanalysis

  • Advanced spreadsheet capability

  • Fluent in English, otherlanguages dependent on the market / region

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Directs people in, and develops the strategy for, the delivery of license advisory services while ensuring productivity, revenue and value contribution to Oracle's business. Implements, directs, and monitors policies, procedures, and standards.

Leads a team in an assigned area. Creates and ensures appropriate business plans and delivery plans are established, managed, updated, and reviewed for assigned area. Drives operational performance goals and responsible for achieving defined targets. Participates in strategic and tactical planning for the division.

University degree or equivalent combination of studies and experience. Demonstrated leaderships skills. Ability to take a big picture view to think and act strategically. Typically 12 years of professional experience with at least 4-5 years of relevant experience
