The Energy for Life (EFL) Team is part of the HR-Benefits Design & Planning Team. The EFL team supports the development of individual capabilities to become physically energized, emotionally connected, mentally focused and aligned with mission and purpose. The team also collaborates and consults with leadership, business clients and Business HR to share enterprise energy management insights and develop strategic solutions to drive a culture of wellbeing and high performance.
The EFL Performance Coach Consultant is responsible for delivering and facilitating energy management concepts in Energy for Life workshops. The incumbent demonstrates strong and compelling facilitation skills to promote wellbeing and energy management strategies. In addition, this role contributes to projects that build awareness of energy management principles and provides support to graduates to help them sustain their personal change strategies.
Facilitates EFL workshops for employees and Allstate agency employees, involving frequent travel to field locations (up to 50% travel time)
Participates in the design and delivery of speaking engagements for internal groups
Participates in the design and delivery of EFL toolkits and other supporting resources to deepen an individual’s full engagement
Partners with leaders and team members to provide input on projects and initiatives that may include:
Provides input in discussions to integrate EFL and TLE initiatives into leadership development initiatives
Provides additional support to EFL workshop graduates to help them sustain their personal change strategies
Contributes to organizational and sustainability efforts to support creating a culture of health, wellbeing, and employee engagement
Furthers departmental and company knowledge through research, internal/external benchmarking, participation in professional associations, etc.
Gathers and analyzes EFL workshop related data (such as participant feedback) to improve personal performance
Partners with EFL vendors to ensure effective delivery of services; provide feedback on vendor to EFL leadership
Education: Bachelor’s degree in psychology, nutrition, dietetics, kinesiology, exercise science, or related field; Masters preferred
Experience: 1-3 years of related experience with subject matter expertise in nutrition, overall wellness/health/wellbeing, fitness and performance, etc. preferred
Experience in a complex corporate or business setting strongly preferred; prior experience in a structured environment, yet decentralized organizational model extremely helpful
Strong workshop delivery and facilitation skills
Strong interpersonal and partnership skills in order to work with individuals from all backgrounds and organizational levels
Proficient with MS Office Suite
Strong organizational skills-- ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deliverables and expectations, while working independently
