Position Overview

This position will be responsible for planning and coordinating the Company’s human resource management activities to maximize the strategic use of human resources.


  • Integrate newly acquired businesses

  • Employee relations to include performance management

  • Develop, recommend and implement SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for functions related to employment practices

  • Conduct periodic site visits to ensure compliance of best practices as well as state regulatory requirements

  • Conduct organizational audits/needs assessments and recommend strategies to align with the organizational goals and improved employee engagement

  • File EEO-1 reports; maintain other records, reports, and logs to conform to EEO regulations

  • Participate in developing department goals, objectives, and systems, and recommend necessary changes

  • Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed

  • Maintain job description file, update as necessary and ensure all positions within the organizations have current job descriptions.

  • Partner directly with functional HR leaders, e.g. Benefits, Compensation, Talent Acquisition, Training and Leadership Development, to facilitate implementation of Human Resource related programs, policies and protocols

  • Create and Maintain various HRIS & metric reports.


  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study such as human resources, business administration or liberal arts required

  • 7 years of responsibility within human resources including experience in policy development and administration, employee relations, integration of mergers and acquisitions and audit compliance

  • SHRM or HRCI Certification preferred

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Excellent time management, organizational and problem-solving skills

  • Familiarity with applicable state and federal regulations

  • Ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization and quickly adapt to a changing environment

  • Possess personal leadership and coaching skills

  • Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions , or approaches to problems

  • Experience with mergers and acquisitions preferred

  • Strong knowledge of DOL guidelines, to include FLSA rules

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality; perform duties with integrity and trust, modeling behavior that demonstrates respect to all employees, peers and customers in accordance with the core values of our company
