This position will be responsible for planning and coordinating the Company’s human resource management activities to maximize the strategic use of human resources.
Integrate newly acquired businesses
Employee relations to include performance management
Develop, recommend and implement SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for functions related to employment practices
Conduct periodic site visits to ensure compliance of best practices as well as state regulatory requirements
Conduct organizational audits/needs assessments and recommend strategies to align with the organizational goals and improved employee engagement
File EEO-1 reports; maintain other records, reports, and logs to conform to EEO regulations
Participate in developing department goals, objectives, and systems, and recommend necessary changes
Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed
Maintain job description file, update as necessary and ensure all positions within the organizations have current job descriptions.
Partner directly with functional HR leaders, e.g. Benefits, Compensation, Talent Acquisition, Training and Leadership Development, to facilitate implementation of Human Resource related programs, policies and protocols
Create and Maintain various HRIS & metric reports.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study such as human resources, business administration or liberal arts required
7 years of responsibility within human resources including experience in policy development and administration, employee relations, integration of mergers and acquisitions and audit compliance
SHRM or HRCI Certification preferred
Strong written and oral communication skills
Excellent time management, organizational and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with applicable state and federal regulations
Ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization and quickly adapt to a changing environment
Possess personal leadership and coaching skills
Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions , or approaches to problems
Experience with mergers and acquisitions preferred
Strong knowledge of DOL guidelines, to include FLSA rules
Ability to maintain confidentiality; perform duties with integrity and trust, modeling behavior that demonstrates respect to all employees, peers and customers in accordance with the core values of our company
