Position Overview Working within a highly-skilled team of Client Advisors and Executives, you will be involved in placing agreed classes and administering property & casualty insurance programmes. Acting as a referral point on major classes of insurance for the industry practice and the department, you would also provide technical reviews of policy wordings and partner closely with placement brokers and clients to implement required changes. There are over 10 dedicated people within the team so the role will provide you with opportunities to share your high levels of expertise and experience, whilst further developing your own knowledge and keeping abreast of industry changes. The advantages of this role are that it will give you exposure to major multinational clients with the opportunity to lead the advisory team and be the client’s main point of contact. Helping to maintain and build strong relationships with our clients is part of the reason we are successful. As this role will involve working on a portfolio of multinational clients, it may require some travel. Responsibilities: Working with specialist placement brokers and/or Client Executives to manage renewal strategy activities and placement for agreed classes Leading programme design activities in conjunction with specialist placement brokers Conducting insurer negotiations in conjunction with specialist placement brokers Planning the service team’s work relating to upcoming renewals and implementing timetables Managing, reviewing and interpreting renewal data Signing off on market presentations Producing all renewal communications to the client including; Market Quotations, Renewal Reports, Renewal Presentations, Transparency and Disclosure Documents Checking and making changes to Manuscript/Bespoke policy wordings and undertaking wording comparisons where applicable Managing premium billing, collections and settlements in liaison with relevant departments Controlling the resolution of complex client queries relating to changes in cover and risk Reviewing Indemnity and Insurance contract clauses Hosting client and insurer meetings in consultation with placement brokers and Client Executives Acting as a focal point for communications with the client regarding the insurance programme Partnering with Client Executives to participate in new business initiatives Checking work for colleagues and providing supervision and training as required Undertaking technical insurance projects on behalf of team or whole department Leading risk identification process in area of speciality Requirements: Previous experience of Corporate / Commercial Property and/or Casualty insurance is essential Proven client facing experience and strong written & verbal communication skills Strong academic background Insurance qualifications (or working towards) preferred Strong relationship building skills Experience of identifying client’s risk financing, insurance needs and objectives Competent in Microsoft Office with intermediate use of MS-Excel preferred If you enjoy building relationships and servicing clients, have an ‘eagle eye’ for spotting errors and challenging the status quo and have strong organisational skills to ensure we are meeting our client deadlines, then we would like to hear from you.
