Position Overview

We have a fantastic trainee opening in Norwich for which we require the successful candidate to become part of a designated team that works to ensure Marsh maintains a professional environment and achieves compliance with FCA regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manages Account Setup via a series of integrated processes and systems and conducts prospect/client account setup tasks including, but not limited to: adds, registration conflicts, and investigations to enable high quality and dependable data management services.

  • Liaises with regional teams, country / global colleagues and business contacts if research requires further investigation, or if new additions are identified to be added to the master repository.

  • Completes entity matching of new and updated client/prospect business information against global database to minimize duplicates.

  • Comprehends quality improvement concepts including data profiling, root cause analysis and continuous quality improvement to assist with process improvement initiatives.

  • Actively participates in data quality initiatives as well as projects undertaken to improve processes, analyses updates that are requested, and assists various colleagues in the firm with the more difficult reference data issues that arise.

  • Identifies and manages the resolution of data quality issues, such as uniqueness, integrity, accuracy, consistency and completeness in an efficient fashion.

    Qualifications

Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrable desire to explore the world of Compliance, with a willingness to become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in one or more key compliance areas.

  • Good academic background supported by good grades at A-Level and/or GCSE in subjects that include Maths and English.

  • Excellent attention to detail and organisation skills in completing assigned tasks.

  • Competent in the use of MS Office.
