The Client Services Defined Benefit Analyst is responsible for the pension administration activities for one to three clients. To fulfill this role, the Analyst will: Gain a solid understanding of the Defined Benefit rules and regulations. Manage individual participant requests as well as plan level data processing and analysis. Complete and peer review pension calculations for plan participants who are initiating their retirement benefit. Review Plan Documents to assist with research and build plan specific knowledge Ensure that all items are processed accurately and within agreed upon time standards Communicate with the Client when needed for participant inquiries requiring additional information. Participate in client specific and Mercer wide project work Qualifications: BA/BS degree - math or actuarial sciences major preferred Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects Proficient with Microsoft Access, Excel and Word Knowledge of SQL is a plus Strong oral and written communication skills Ability to work within a team environment Self-motivated, fast learner, quality conscious, committed to deadlines At Mercer, we make a difference in the lives of more than 110 million people every day by advancing their health, wealth, and careers.
