Kaiser Permanente Analyst-National Market Research in Oakland, California
Responsible for driving voice of the customer into KP (external & internal voice). Look into how to do a better job of retaining existing employers/members and how to do a better job of attracting new employers/member groups. Provides support for the Health Plan & Medical Groups in terms of monitoring performance and providing new insights into customer needs. Focus areas include: Market position, Product Development, Brand position, Advertising evaluation, service performance/customer satisfaction, Sales & Marketing performance. Provide research support to Senior Leadership to help guide strategic & tactical decisions.
- Under direction assists with routine components of project design, implementation, management, and reporting.- Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations, particularly tables and graphics as directed.- Under supervision, work with vendors to coordinate logistical details, monitor project completion status, and conduct quality control monitoring activities as directed.- Assist with routine research administration tasks such as preparing abstracts from literature reviews and database entries for project databases and the NMRD clearinghouse.- Perform basic data analysis and manages&constructs databases.
Basic Qualifications:Experience- N/AEducation- Bachelor's degree required.License, Certification, Registration- N/A Additional Requirements:- Basic quantitative skills, including familiarity with basic concepts in probability and statistics.- Some knowledge of the scientific process and research process and practices.- Must be able to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
Preferred Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree with minimum three (3) years of related experience, OR one (1) year with a master-s degree.
Knowledge of health care industry dynamics and trends preferred.
Strong ability to collaborate with market research staff within Kaiser Permanente (located in multiple regions, as well as Program Offices).
Ability to provide analysis, coordination, and communication support to market research projects on a regional and enterprise level on market research approaches.
Exercise a continued willingness to learn new ways to conduct brand- and advertising-related research.
Excellent writing/language skills.
Ability to prioritize workload and manage expectations with key business stakeholders.
Ability to manage the market research vendors and team with colleagues in National Market Research to complete studies on time and within budget.
SPSS experience preferred.
