The position assists the NTS Leadership team in developing and executing goals that promote improvement in the efficiency, service and effectiveness of care provided by National Transplant Services. This job family demonstrates in-depth practice, knowledge and skills, manages operational and projects and is accountable for the successful execution of project goals and analytical deliverables. At the highest level of the job family, shares in accountability of outcomes and performance for all regions and the enterprise in transplant quality and operations. Supporting NTS Operations or NTS Quality Improvement for the department, this position will provide project management, analytics, data interpretation, and report generation activities. The position can be engaged in projects or ongoing functions related to departmental, regional, or enterprise operational workflows, external transplant programs processes and performance, the NTS quality oversight processes and committees, EMR or quality systems design/support/data structures, expansion or evaluations of NTS services.
Works on assignments of moderate scope.
Works within accepted guidelines.
Requires moderate planning and scheduling.
Advanced and facile computer skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
Under minimal supervision and guidance, provides extracts data from well-defined sources, calculate specific metrics, generate graphics, populate dashboards, prepares analyses and draft interpretations, conclusions, and recommendations.
Attends meetings with project/regional stakeholders to familiarize them with project objectives, data sources, existing or future metrics. As needed, represents the project leader in meetings.
Under minimal supervision and guidance, designs and implements project support infrastructure (RACI, tracking documents, data collection needs (quantitative or qualitative), communications to stakeholders and leadership.
Minimum two (2) years of experience in data analytics and reporting, or other directly related field required.
Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Social/Physical/Life Science, Business or a related field, OR four (4) years of experience in a directly related field required.
High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.
License, Certification, Registration
Working knowledge of policies practices, and systems.
Frequent use and general knowledge of industry practices, techniques, and standards.
General application of concepts and principles.
Full use and application of standard principles, theories, concepts, and techniques.
Must be able to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Social/Physical/Life Science, Business or related field preferred, OR six (6) years of experience in a directly related field.
Knowledge of Electronic Medical Record functions and workflows preferred.
