Location/Division Specific Information

Our team specializes in radiation measurement products serving the nuclear power, medical and security markets and our business-unit specializes in field analysis instruments (FTIR/Raman and XRF) performing elemental and isotope identification for laboratory, mining, narcotics as well as other markets. As a Supplier Quality Engineer you will work for our Field and Safety Instruments business at our Cleveland metropolitan area site in Oakwood Village, Ohio where our specialty is radiation measurement and detection equipment.

By nurturing and growing a strong quality management system, the quality team has wide-ranging responsibilities and opportunities to impact the business’ health, effectiveness and most importantly our customer’s experience with our products and systems.

What will you do?

  • Problem solve – Helping to solve internal and supplier problems to create a stronger organization

  • Create and drive elements of the supplier quality program including supplier audits, supplier metrics, and supplier score-cards.

  • Support the growth of the quality management system – We strive for the highest levels of quality in all that we do from incoming inspection, the certification of materials, to the introduction of new products in the marketplace.

How will you get here?

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or the sciences or a closely related discipline

  • 3 to 5 years of applicable experience in engineering or science field in a manufacturing environment, with a minimum of 3-years’ experience working within Quality, preferably working with supplier quality.

  • Previous problem-solving experience

  • Strong interpersonal, written, verbal skills and the ability to work collaboratively

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
