Oracle Analyst Relations Manager in Ogden, Utah

Work as part of a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.

As a member of the product development division, you will define product specifications and or strategy. Gather and analyze information to define product specifications and review design specifications. Communicate product strategy and functionality. Initiate and foster relationships with other groups. Review product documentation and collateral. Ensure successful product releases based on corporate priorities.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.

Analyst Relations Manager

We are making huge global investments to deliver an open, secure, reliable and transformative IaaS platform called Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) to help our customers through their generational shift to the cloud. To deliver on this transformation, we seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Analyst Relations (AR) manager to support the OCI Go-To-Market Team.

Inside Oracle we are a fast growing/fast moving engineering and product group focused on delivering Oracle s next generation IaaS platform, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). OCI is present in 10 regions worldwide with 50 services just last year we shipped more than 350 features and services. Responsibilities include, but not limited to

  • Plan, develop and execute AR programs to educate the cloud analyst community on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services and offerings

  • Proactively secure highest-possible placement for OCI in key analyst reports such as Gartner Magic Quadrant for Cloud IaaS

  • Present OCI differentiators and expand analyst understanding of what makes OCI unique among cloud IaaS vendors

  • Deliver on-going AR program activities such as analyst briefings and inquires, analyst events and internal benchmarking

  • Prioritize and manage incoming analyst requests for information, ongoing research review, customer testimonials and request for event speakers

  • Present regular updates to OCI senior leadership team on OCI placements in various analyst reports

  • Provide regular updates to analyst community as new OCI services and features are launched

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering product leaders, solution architect and marketing leaders to drive key analysts requirements and initiatives

  • Continually raise the bar on delivery, tools and processes to deliver the best possible analyst experience

Key Qualifications:

  • 2 years of analyst relations experience in the tech industry, preferably in the cloud market

  • 2 years of AR experience directly interacting with key industry analyst firms like Gartner, Forrester and others

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills and ability to present to small and large audiences

  • Experience in Cloud technologies and familiarity with competitive offerings

  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically

  • Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills

  • Meticulous attention to detail

  • Strong problem solving and negotiation skills to earn trust and influence others

  • Bachelor s degree in business, Information Technology or related field

  • Strong technical background
