Oracle A/R Project Manager in Ogden, Utah

Coordinates all aspects of internal information system-specific projects from initiation to delivery. Projects often involve network, server, or software implementation and upgrades, PC deployment and the like.

Coordinates work performed by IT staff and internal customers/partners by defining project specifications, performing feasibility and needs/impact assessments. Develops detailed project plans and manages all implementation processes including resource allocation, progress tracking, monitoring change control process, testing, documentation, training and on-time delivery within budget constraints.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Typically 5 years of project management, product design or related experience needed.

Order to Cash Project Manager

Position Overview/Responsibilities:

The Order to Cash Project Manager position calls for a self-directedindividual contributor to project manage system enhancements as well as large-scaleproject initiatives. The highly skilledcandidate will act as liaison between Finance Business groups and IT,participating in and/or leading Accounts Receivable projects. Track milestones/deliverablesand drive projects to completion by targeted deadlines. Facilitate cross-functionalteam meetings and conference calls. Prepare and deliver quality presentations.Submit regular status updates, recommendations and escalations to management. Key functions involve identifying business requirements, performing dataanalysis and delivering impact assessments. Additional responsibilitiesinclude proactively managing post production activities as well as developingpolicy and procedure documentation. Performs work independently withoutdirect oversight. Collaborate with management, team members and businesspartners. It is critical to this position that the Project Manager remaincomposed in a fast paced, dynamic and frequently changing work environment.

Participate in Pre-Planning meetings todetermine project requirements

Research existing system setups/processes

Develop project plan to manage to timeline andfinal deliverable

Coordination of testing both O2CUnit (Silo) and E2E (Cross-functional)

End-to-End ownership of project from conceptthrough execution

System Enhancement Request Management

Manage system enhancement service requests

Request additional or missing information onsubmitted service requests

Complete requirements gathering

Present projects to management on a quarterlybasis and make recommendation for Go/No-Go

Initiate requirements and/or solution reviewswith IT

End to End ownership of enhancement request fromrequest through implementation including post production activities

Preferred Qualifications:

Successful candidate will have 5 years project management experience. Candidate will be flexible and comfortable working in a fast paced, dynamicallychanging environment. The individual needs to be self-directed only requiringmanagement direction for new tasks or complex situations. Able to graspcomplex concepts quickly. Ability to communicate complex businessconcepts clearly and concisely. Experience with system implementations.
