The Hertz Corporation Business Analyst - Fleet Services Systems in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

General Responsibilities

Job Purpose:

  1. Create adhoc reports using Access, Crystal Reporting and Web Focus as requested by department managers and supervisors to enhance work performance.

  2. Create dashboard for Fleet Services including tools to enhance field access to ordering data.

  3. Work with management and Fleet ordering teams to provide data files and reports needed.

  4. Work with outside vendors as needed/required to acquire and provide data for uploads for recalls and warranty claims

  5. Create and prepare reports for various analyses of all data for warranty and fleet services department

  6. Monitor and update Warranty and Fleet Department Web Page

  7. Help design and manage new processes and projects to ensure accurate and timely implementation

Key Result Areas:

  1. Ensuring systematic accurate, efficient and timely order processing of all warranty and recall processing needs.

  2. Creating and maintaining an up-to-date job manual and standardize training for each warranty and recall processes by OEM.

  3. Continually audit processes, data and work flow to identify areas for improvement.

  4. Work on system development/enhancements between OEMs and other internal Hertz systems and the warranty and recall system.

  5. Communications with outside OEMs and vendors as needed/required for useful information that may impact our systems or our business needs/requirements.

  6. Creating and preparing reports for various analyses of warranty and recalls. The immediate emphasis will be on processing and providing accurate data to OEMs for warranty and recalls. Any issues that need to be resolved are done quickly to ensure warranty and recall billing for the vehicles are being made in a timely manner, etc. Additional emphasis will be looked at for trends, impact of data being displayed on downstream systems.

  7. Manage new processes and projects to ensure that all system limitations and business requirements for downstream systems have been identified and addressed prior to implementation.

Mandatory Requirements

Educational Background:

Some college preferred but not required

Professional Experience:

  • 3-5 years fleet experience

  • Knowledge of Vehicle purchases, Warranty, and Recalls

  • Fleet Accounting or General Accounting

  • Proven experience with improvement methodologies

  • Experience and understanding of IT requirements, design, development and testing.

Knowledge:

  • Microsoft Access, Word and Excel required

  • Reporting tools, Web Focus, Tableau, Cognos, Crystal required

  • Sequel Server (SQL)

  • ASP .NET is an open-source server-side web application framework designed for web development to produce dynamic web pages.

  • Has an overall understanding of the objectives and functions of the Company, business units and departments impacted by our work processes.

  • Ability to identify problems, make decisions, create solutions, and act.

  • Ability to apply analytical along with problem solving skills to determine user needs and requirements.

  • Ability to manage multiple assignments, priorities, and projects in a very demanding environment.

  • Ability to demonstrate innovative thinking, influencing and execution.

Skills:

  • Ability to influence others without formal authority

  • Outstanding communication skills both written and verbal

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization

  • Highly self-motivated and directed with an attention to detail and a strong customer service orientation.
