Kaiser Permanente Physical Therapy Assistant - Outpatient Ortho Rehab Services (1.0 FTE, Olympia) in Olympia, Washington

Provide patient treatments and procedures in accordance with specific treatment plan devised by Physical Therapy team.

Essential Responsibilities:

Treats patients referred by licensed Physical Therapists, under the supervision of the referring therapist, by carrying out a specified treatment plan.

Records and communicates treatment given and patient's progress. Advises referring therapist of difficulties, problems or indications for change or modification of treatment procedures as indicated by patient responses.

Remains current in recent developments in physical therapy techniques and procedures.

Refers patients to/consults with licensed Physical Therapist for discharge evaluation and periodic re-evaluation (after 4 visits or less with PT Assistant).

Basic Qualifications:




High School Diploma/GED

License, Certification, Registration


Preferred Qualifications:

Graduate of approved Physical Therapist Assistant program OR military classification and work experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
