Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Provide strategic thinking, solutions and roadmaps while driving architectural recommendations. Ensure architectural adherence through blueprint and design reviews.

  • Design and deliver a multi-cloud architecture supporting AWS, Azure, and GCP

  • Create reference architectures for the consumption of public cloud services by application development teams

  • Document environmental best practices, including automation strategy, policy adherence, asset lifecycle, resiliency, and multi-region business continuity

  • In collaboration with enterprise security teams, deliver security strategy and patterns required to support the responsible consumption of public cloud

  • Evangelize the use of public cloud across the architecture and developer communities

  • Support business demand as required

Job Summary:

The primary function of the Enterprise Public Cloud Architect role is to provide technical strategy for environmental design, integrations, application patterns, and security models supporting the delivery of public cloud services. This position supports the development and implementation of public cloud services for highly complex and/or multiple projects. This is a vital role in the company’s journey to public cloud.

The primary location for the position at our Hartford, CT office campus, however, we will consider a Remote or Work from Home placement for the right candidate.

Education, Work Experience & Knowledge:

Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred. 7 years of experience in enterprise, application, and/or information architecture preferred. 3 years of experience as a technical lead preferred. Experience managing others preferred.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent required. 5 years of experience in enterprise, application, and/or information architecture required. 1 year of experience as a technical lead required.
