- This position requires an individual with strong Microsoft SSAS, SSRS and SSIS development skills to manage and extend the use of cubes, data marts and/or views. Incumbent will be responsible for guiding, recommending, and developing enhancements to the environment, and supporting SQL reporting and analytics environments.He/she will be responsible for developing solutions which will improve the McKesson efficiency and analytic capabilities by enhancing our BI environment.
Section A – Specific Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Work collaboratively with Business teams to build data cube solutions for the business
Improve analytic capabilities of the BI environment.
Automate processes in order to improve team efficiencies.
Improve processes to enhance the quality of the underlying data.
Review current processes and advise on database design plans to support business needs
Develop quality control processes to ensure quality of data feeds
ETL development to automate data feeds to the data warehouse from various internal and external sources of data
Standardizing coding of data to enable better data consolidation
Documenting processes and supporting development of a data dictionary
Support and maintain regularly scheduled weekly, monthly and quarterly updates to the database

Coaches and mentors other colleagues on Microsoft BI environment

Develops internal and external relationships, with emphasis on those that facilitate the achievement of job/role accountabilities, such as relationships with key suppliers, customers and internal service providers.
Ensures to respect and adhere to company policies and procedures.
May participate in some aspects of project management; may be asked to review work delivered by external suppliers.
Ensures to sustain job performance standards and objectives set through the progress and appraisal guidelines.
Section C – Position Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
Minimum of 7 years in Information Technology
Minimum of 5 years as an analyst/programmer
Certification with Microsoft SQL Server SSAS, SSRS, and SSIS an asset
Experience in Microsoft SQL Server SSAS, SSRS, and SSIS, Power BI
Experience with vb.Net / C# / ASP.Net RestAPI an asset
Strong knowledge of Business Intelligence solutions
Experienced with dealing with data from multiple sources with varying data quality issues
Experienced with Oracle and MS SQL Server environments
Good analytical capacity
Ability to work in a team
Good written and oral communication skills in both French and English
Organized, methodical with rigorous work approach
Ability to work efficiently under pressure
Ability to work autonomously
Ability to work in crisis situations and in multi-tasks mode
