As an acknowledged authority within Oracle, this senior level consulting position is responsible for creating and implementing innovative solutions with industry-wide impact. Leads the solution design and implementation aspects of engagement(s) ensuring high quality, integrated solutions within constraints of time and budget.
Analyzes business needs to help ensure Oracle solution meets the customer s objectives by combining industry best practices, product knowledge, and business acumen. As a position of technical/professional influence, this individual frequently operates at the leading edge of technology. Recommends and justifies enhancements to Oracle products to meet very complex customer needs. Exercises creativity and independent judgment in developing methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to deliver functional and technical expertise on a wide range of business and technology solutions. Leads experienced consulting teams on challenging projects; works on significant and unique issues. As a thought leader and trusted advisor, effectively influences difficult decisions at the leadership-level of customer organizations. Enables business development efforts by providing subject matter expertise. Resolves very complex customer escalations. Drives customer process direction and decisions by providing domain leadership within relevant industries on end-to-end enterprise solutions. Creates new solution sets based on assessment of industry needs, market demands and knowledge of competitive product offerings.
10 years of experience relevant to this position including 5 years of consulting experience. Management or team leadership experience preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to lead large teams. Strong influencing and negotiation skills. Ability to travel as needed.

Brief Posting Description:
As a member of the Oracle Consulting Services, your focus is to deliver Oracle solutions to the Oracle customer base while serving as an advocate for customer needs.
As an Oracle Consultant, you are expected to be an expert in Oracle emerging technologies and be highly skilled in designing and implementing extremely complex and often critical systems
Performing the assigned duties with a high level of autonomy and reporting to management on customer status and technical matters on a regular basis.
At this high level, you will be expected to work with very limited guidance from management.
Polished, professional, articulate and technically savvy with all the soft skills that accentuate being client presentable and the go-to person they expect this consultant to be.
This Oracle Consultant will be sought by customers and Oracle employees to provide expert technical advice.
Hands-on technical delivery experience in Exadata
Hands-on technical delivery experience in Oracle 12c
Hands-on technical delivery experience in Super Cluster
Hands-on technical delivery experience in OEM Cloud
Hands-on technical delivery experience in Cloud
Candidates with ALL of the above experience will be given first high priority. All candidates need a minimum of 3 out of 5 to be considered
In addition to the technical requirements above, the successful candidate will:
Strong background and experience as an Oracle High-Availability CORE DBA with extensive experience in RAC
At this level, there will be substantial customer interfacing and the consultant must demonstrate the ability to work with customers on an independent basis with exceptional communication skills, while consistently achieving the absolute highest levels of customer satisfaction.
This consultant will be a leading contributor, both individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others.
Our projects are non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization.

Excellent customer relationship and communication skills.
US Citizens preferred, EAD and GC considered. NO work visa sponsorship available at this time.
Ability to travel 100% US Nationwide - Candidates must be West Coast / Western USA based and be able and willing to travel US Nationwide Mon Thurs/Fri
