Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sell.
As a Senior Sales Consultant you will be responsible for providing presales technical / functional support to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction with minimal supervision. Acts as a technical resource for less experienced Sales Consultants. Develop and deliver high quality standard Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Present and articulate advanced product features and benefits, product future direction and overall Oracle solutions. Design, validate, and present Oracle software solutions to include advanced product concepts, future direction, and 3rd party complimentary products. Develop and manage reference sites through high quality technical, professional client relationships.
Job duties are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. May have project lead role. 5 years vendor (sales and marketing) experience. 5 years relevant computer applications or database/tools. Demonstrated proficiency in one multi-user operating system. Through knowledge of system and application design. Strong verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques. Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems with accounts in complex technical environments. Ability to travel as needed. BS degree or equivalent; advanced degree desirable.

The Cloud Technical Sales Consultant will be responsible forcreating and driving the technical strategy with sales in the management ofaccounts driving towards the adoption of Oracle Cloud Applications. Youwill partner with customers and multiple internal Oracle teams includingproduct management, cloud hosting & delivery, and demo engineering in orderto identify customer goals and challenges and the appropriate Oracle CloudApplications and Platform Solutions that will enable their success. Incollaboration with sales, you will drive revenue growth across a defined set ofcustomers.
You will need to be adept at maintainingin-depth product Oracle Cloud Technical product knowledge including:
Enterprise Applications (HCM,ERP,SCM) and associatedapplication development, integration, and analytical services
Emerging Technologies AI/ML, ioT, ChatBots & DigitalAssistants, BlockChain, and RPA
Cloud Security and Operations change management, disasterrecovery, audit compliance, and data center architecture including security andnetworking
Other Duties Include:
Responding to tenders, RFI s, RFP s, proposals with respectto product/solution information
Participating in Oracle Cloud Marketing events
Must be open to travel at least 40%
Prefer5-10 years experience in related field
Experiencewith cloud solutions, virtual platforms, software development experience, andoperational management practices and frameworks
Understandingof security, risk and compliance frameworks, disaster recovery, highavailability architectures, hardware, operating systems and networkingconnectivity
Large-scalesystems integration involving both on-premises technology and public cloudplatforms
Preferbackground in ERP or SCM applications
Skilledin presenting and demonstrating
Self-motivatedand able to work under pressure
Excellentverbal and written communication skills
Abilityto discuss key industry issues at multiple levels (C-Level to IT Managers)
