Responsibilities include defining systems strategy, developing system requirements, designing, prototyping, and testing custom technology solutions, and supporting system implementation.Functional Consultants in the Federal Oracle Enterprise Services (EBS) practice are required to have: 2 or more years of relevant consulting or industry experience in a client delivery role with direct interaction with client key end users and business owners.2 or more years of experience in developing written documentation for the various communications.2 or more years of experience working in teams and in a team environment, that is process-oriented and deadline-driven.Bachelors and/or a Masters degree or equivalent.Over 1 year experience in various phases of implementation life cycle: Prepare, Design, Build, Test, Deploy and Operate testing.A minimum of 1 full life cycle implementation using any of the following Oracle Financial modules: General Ledger, Oracle Federal Administrator, Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables, Purchasing, i-Procurement, Projects, Fixed Assets, Order Process Management (OPM), Order Transportation Management (OTM), Service Contracts, iSupplier, Supply Chain Management.A willingness to travel 80 - 100% of the time.The ability to map applications to standard business processes and conduct gap analysis.The ability to implement process improvements based on the application capability and industry best practices.Excellent communication skills and ability to lead client meetings independentlyGood understanding of sub-ledger accounting (SLA), month-end and year-end closing activities in Oracle EBS 11i and R12Experience supporting all solution activities for one or more of the following process cycles.Order to Cash (O2C)Design business process and application configuration for Oracle Order Management (OM) and Accounts Receivables (AR) modules based on industry best practices.Detailed functional knowledge of Oracle Order Management (OM) and Accounts Receivable (AR) modules.Procure to Pay (P2P)Design business process and application configuration for Oracle Purchasing (PO), iProcurement (IP), and Accounts Payable (AP) modules based on industry best practices.Detailed functional knowledge of Oracle Purchasing (PO) iProcurement (IP), and Accounts Payable (AP) modules.Budget to Report (B2R)Design business process and application configuration for Federal Administrator and General Ledger (GL) modules based on industry best practices.Detailed functional knowledge of Oracle Federal Administrator and General Ledger (GL) modules.In addition, successful Functional Consultants will have the following preferred background: Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignmentsStrong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint)Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgmentAn advanced degree in the area of specializationFederal experienceOracle Release 12 experienceActive security clearance (NACI or Secret clearance preferred)
