Oracle Principal Financial Analyst - GPO Consulting in Orlando, Florida
Financial support to business areas through financial analysis, budgeting, planning & forecasting; to facilitate decision making and future business strategies.
As a member of Oracle's finance organization, you will be responsible for providing all aspects of financial support for planning and control. Assist in consolidation and reporting of financial results; preparation of annual budget. Gather, model, analyze, prepare, and summarize information for financial plans, operating forecasts, trended future specifications, etc.; on a weekly, monthly, or quarterly basis. Prepares recommendations based on analyzes. May perform revenue and expense analysis, headcount and headcount driven expense analysis at cost center level, tracking of product and product line revenue, reconciliation of accounts receivable, variance analysis and ad-hoc analysis as needed. You may participate in cross functional programs and projects.
Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Strong Microsoft Office skills and proficiency in Oracle Financials. Strong analysis and research skills. Ability to partner across functions. 8 years relevant work experience. BS/BA in Accounting/Finance preferred. CPA/MBA desired.

Work with GBF GPO Consulting driving globalization, standardization and automation projects for GBF Consulting.
Reporting and Processes: Work on the requirements gathering inputs, aligning definition and providing models, solutions and design for the global standard processes, reports and dashboards in collaboration with the BP, BPS and the CoE teams.
Standardization and Automation: Support implementation of standard models and reports. Work with OAL, GBF Systems and the GBF BP, BPS, CoE teams to implement requirements consistently in the respective systems (SI, GCW Cloud BI, PFM, HBA, HFA, LRP, CORE). Represent GBF Consulting requirements in projects led by other LOBs, Business Operations etc.
Support the Change Management process by providing trainings, demos etc. Organize and Participate in testing from GBF side.
WW Consulting Business Partnering: Work close with GPO Consulting to support the Consulting Global Business Partnering, Consolidate global views, provide analysis to business KPIs, support business reviews at Divisional/GBUs level and at Global Consulting level.
GBF Consulting Team: Work close with GPO Consulting to ensure constant communication, organize and lead team calls, capture knowledge and best practices in the GBF Consulting wiki.
Consulting knowledge and understand of Consulting KPIs.
Advanced knowledge of Oracle Systems and Tools as well as in Excel.
Project management skills.
Strong communication skills to build networks within Oracle and get buy in from stakeholders for derived solutions. Partner and work with multi-cultural teams toward common objectives.
Strong analytical skills, ability to analyze complex problems and derive solutions.
High commitment, self-motivation and results orientation. Drive initiatives on his/her own and independently.
Be flexible to work beyond the scheduled hours when required, accommodate work schedule to support the organizations in different time zones.
