Verizon Product Manager – One Talk Solutions in Orlando, Florida

What you’ll be doing...

This role will be a part of the product management team for the ongoing product strategy and evolution of One Talk, with the responsibility of delivering One Talk solutions for multiple segments (micro business, small business, SMB, midmarket/enterprise, public sector), and multiple business units and routes to market (VZW, VBM, VES, Channel Partners).

This role will require the candidate to drive the ongoing product evolution, and innovation of the One Talk product family, to document and evangelize the product strategy and vision, to be accountable for product management and product development, to work closely with both external partners and internal product development stakeholders, and to partner with business unit and GTM teams to launch products successfully.

This is a highly visible position and will partner with R&D, IT, Project Management, Network Engineering, sales, marketing, and strategic external partners. Specific job requirements include:

  • Prioritize, document, own, and evangelize new product and operational enhancements.

  • Provide excellent product requirements and user stories.

  • Work with PMO to drive development through the Lean Business Agility process, with deliveries that are on-time and high-quality.

  • Continually review the Customer Experience in an end-to-end manner, and drive improvements through the product development process.

  • Stay abreast of product, market, and architectural industry developments, to ensure the product is leading-edge.

  • Drive cross-product solutions – work with other GPS product owners, BU product marketing leads, Device Marketing, and others, to build industry solutions that go beyond One Talk, and integrate both Verizon and third party solutions with One Talk.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.

  • Experience in wireless solutions, VoIP solutions, or Unified Communications solutions for small and large businesses.

  • Experience with product management, product marketing, and/or engineering.

  • Experience with business case generation and financial analysis.

  • Demonstrated team player with ability to coordinate multiple projects in a fast paced, deadline driven, multi-location / multi-cultural matrix work environment.

  • Problem solver with the capability to effectively communicate solutions.

  • Self-motivation with a can-do attitude and the ability to influence and motivate others while staying positive.

  • Excellent communication skills with the capability to speak effectively to clients and internal teams.

  • Sales and Customer facing experience.
