Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Project Coordinator for employment in our Tampa, FL office. Project is located in Orlando, FL.

The Project Coordinator will assist in project tasks on the South Airport Automated People Mover (SA APM) and Intermodal Terminal Facility (ITF) at the Orlando International Airport. The appropriately qualified applicant will be able to facilitate with the proposal process, update reports as necessary, maintain logs, and complete projects and tasks as assigned.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Assists with the tracking and organization of contracts, subcontracts

  • Provides office support with document/spreadsheet preparation and management of program data

  • Attends meetings and documents as needed

  • Responsible for coordinating meetings, minutes, agendas, and disseminating project and meeting information to participants

Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma

  • 2+ years of experience

  • Excellent communication skills, specifically dealing with staff at all levels and other parts of the SAPM program management team, different Owner (GOAA) Departments, and with external contacts (3rd party Estimators,CMRs, Architects/Engineers)

  • Excellent approach to planning work, managing priorities and using own initiatives to overcome issues

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Ideally has some exposure in construction management at risk delivery method

  • Experience of working in an environment with a strong customer/audience focus
