IBM Business Management Lead in OTTAWA, Ontario

Job Description

In this role, you will be working with Business Operations, Business Analytics executives, and finance to develop annual operating plan and to track and measure progress against plan during the year. Role involves tracking of headcount, overall budgets, and data analysis to recommend and implement changes to maximize profitability.

Responsibilities :

  • Effectively manage budget and business finances while reducing business costs

  • Ensure organizational effectiveness

  • Track employee details such as attritions, transfers in/out, LOA, new hires, backfills

  • Take forward financial requests to CFO/Controller for approvals

  • Ensure travel and expense requests are vetted before taking forward for approvals

  • Oversee the business operations activities

  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition Partners and manage hiring activities

  • Excellent leadership and cross functional skills

  • Must have financial knowledge, development and cloud related concepts

  • Quick learner and highly adaptive to work with all levels of the organization

  • Strong organizational and planning skills, able to keep projects on track

  • Ability to present to various levels of organizations both internally and externally as well as technical and non-technical

  • Confident speaker
