Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Assists in the management of complex compliance actions including market regulation and market conduct activities, new laws and regulations, complaint handling, advertising and correspondence review, and business compliance issues. Promotes awareness of compliance matters, monitors success in implementing compliance actions, and assists in the development of compliance programs, quality assurance reviews, and self-audits. Participates in complex and controversial compliance/regulatory matters, and provides technical expertise to support business units on compliance-related issues. Assists Corporate and Head Office Audit on compliance issues pertaining to internal reviews. Participates in these reviews as an auditor. Coordinates audits and sanctions searches. Ensures compliance to Enterprise Underwriting guidelines - drafting exceptions where needed. Builds strong business relationships with internal personnel involved in compliance-related matters. Maintains multiple compliance reporting tools and keeps tools updated as appropriate. Manages Business Continuity and Privacy for Specialty Insurance. Primary point of accountability within the Specialty Insurance business unit to transition and organize internal documents into an organized SharePoint library designed for internal user ease of use. Core activities will include: building and maintaining a SharePoint repository, deploying a content and document management strategy and records retention. In conjunction with the Specialty Insurance business unit product solutions team writes, develops and maintains insurance contract language, training materials, marketing materials, website content and develops and deploys a roadmap for marketing material to support the business unit. Drafts and edits Business Requirement documents, endorsements, brochures and Hidden Risks microsite content roadmap. Formats policy forms, endorsements, applications and training documents. Maintains forms inventory lists and forms templates. Responds to IT form-related requests post-project handoff. Creates claim examples and marketing campaigns. Perform other duties as assigned.
