General Summary Description The Executive Producer – Retirement Services identifies new opportunities in small and middle market business accounts, building great relationships with business owners and executives at multiple levels of the client organization through consultative selling strategy. Duties /Responsibilities Identifies, qualifies and sells new client engagements with target organizations to achieve/exceed annual goals Builds effective and collaborative relationships with the key decision-makers within the target organizations Uses a highly consultative approach to setup sales meetings and conduct face to face meetings with prospects Organizes and executes a multi-faceted sales plan to effectively make direct contact with prospects Participates in professional organizations and informal networks to develop, build & sustain pipelines/prospects Understands the short and long-term needs and challenges of prospects and how the MMA value proposition and industry best practices can assist in solving their problems, improve their competitive position and move their business forward Works closely with a team of consultants and analysts to collaboratively develop solutions that will move prospects through the sales process and win the sale Proficient in/champion of the tools and processes, sales effectiveness techniques and best practices of MMA Identify cross-sell opportunities within MMA book of business (all lines of business) Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or combination of education and experience with 2+ years relevant sales experience and/or employer-sponsored retirement plans industry experience required. Successful business to business sales experience (professional services and/or retirement plans preferred) including experience selling to executive/senior level preferred. Additional Requirements Licenses/Certification: FINRA Series 7 required FINRA Series 65 or 66 required Driver’s License and proper insurance required Financial services industry designation preferred Special Requirements/Skills: Must be self-starter and demonstrate resourcefulness Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Ability to learn, understand & champion sales process and value proposition Ability to work effectively and professionally in a fast-paced environment Ability to engage in client-focused critical thinking Ability to work well independently and within a team environment Excellent oral and written communication and relationship building skills Exceptional time management and organizational skills Strong presentation skills Strong delegation and project management skills Work Environment: Typical office environment Frequent travel (up to 30%) Agency (MMA) provides colleagues the freedom to make a career and difference.
