Position Summary: Apply complex National Flood Insurance Program rules and regulations to individual flood insurance policies. Consistently apply Standard Operating Procedures to ensure consistent positive performance. Provide customer service to agents by phone support, online chat and emails. Assimilate large amounts of complex flood insurance information and be able to adapt that knowledge as the result of frequent and multiple policy and process changes. Quickly and accurately process a high volume of flood insurance questions, and transactions including submit for rate quotes and applications, general flood applications, endorsements, cancellations, renewals, and other written and verbal inquiries while meeting productivity and quality KPIs as defined by leadership. Demonstrate a consistent ability to shift between priorities as they are identified throughout the day. De-escalate difficult customers and bring situations to complete resolution. Assess customer needs and proactively find the most appropriate solution to resolve their issues in every interaction. Demonstrate a clear understanding of time management techniques by working independently with minimal supervision and as a participating and contributing member of a team. Actively and consistently participate in and contribute to group activities to include daily huddles, team meetings, on-on-one coaching, and training opportunities. Support special underwriting projects as assigned. Requirements: 3 – 4 years of Underwriting experience with ANFI designation and submit for rate trained. Experience working underwriting methodologies and flood insurance practices along with experience working with organizational insurance procedures and policies. Strong organizational, time management skills along with ability to work in a team environment. Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with team members and clients. R086415-en R086415
